In sum:
Rlink X7 supports CAN FD and DoIP protocols. VXDIAG VCX SE only DoIP. If you need CAN FD, need to get new VXDIAG CAN FD device, but it can do only ford and gm at the present.
All these are based on 3rd party drivers. All can be used as J2534 passthru for OEM online programming.
Rlink is not compatible with PSA, Renault, SSM3, Pathfinder, PIWIS II software. VXDIAG does support these softwares.
Rlink X7 and VXDIAG VCX SE allow adding more software licenses to the unit.
Some users reported that the VXDIAG VCX FD is faster and easier to set up than Rlink.
