VCX series devices support multiple communication interfaces to connect to the host:
Device connection method:
1. LAN – network cable connection

2. WLAN – Wireless network

Steps for WLAN connection:
The device is connected to the vehicle’s power supply and starts normally.
The computer searches for the wireless network: DoIP-VCI-XXXX, selects “Connect automatically”, and then clicks “Connect”.
Enter your wireless network password: 12345678 and click Next.
Once the wireless network connection is established, wireless network information can be viewed in Windows Network Connections as follows:
3. USBLAN – USB network card
Applicable products with USBLAN connection method: VCX-DOIP / VCX-SE

First connection
When you connect to USBLAN for the first time, Windows will automatically install the driver
Once the driver is successfully installed, you can view the network adapter in Device Manager: Realtek USB FE Family Controller.
4. USB (VCX-NANO)
The USB connection method is only suitable for VCX-NANO products!

When you connect to the USB serial port for the first time, Windows will automatically install the driver
After the driver is successfully installed, you can see the port in Device Manager: USB Serial Port (COMx).
5. Wi-Fi (VCX-NANO)
This wireless connection method is only suitable for VCX-NANO products with wireless functions!

Steps for connecting to WiFi
The device connection starts normally.
The computer searches for the wireless network: VCX-WiFi and clicks [Connect].
There is no need to enter a password, the connection is successful.
Device connection detection:
After the device has been successfully connected according to the method described above, launch the VX Manager management software. If the serial number, version, name, and other information of the VCX device can be displayed correctly, it means that the device has been successfully connected to the computer.
Configuring the device connection:
The default connection type configuration of VX Manager is AUTO, which can support automatic identification of all connection methods and generally does not need to be changed.
If you confirm that you need to change the connection type, you can change it in the Device Management -> Device Configuration interface.
